Control Circuits
You may be wondering how to put ComSwitcher to use for you.
ComSwitcher is not very useful without something to switch.
Maybe you want to key up a transmitter. Or perhaps you want to turn on a relay that turns something else on or off.
Below is a couple of example schematics to help you get started with how to achieve this using either the DTR or RTS signal to do the switching.
Put together this little circuit or experiment and modify it to fit your needs, then use ComSwitcher to do the switching for you over your computer's COM port. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination!
There is also a Help file to read which will guide you through using the program.
